Since ab=ac it is an iscosceles triangle
angle b = angle c = 70 degree ( since angles opposite to equal sides are also equal)
a+b+c=180 (by angle sum property of triangle)
70+70+a=180
a=180-140
a=40
angle a is of 40 degree
(Draw a figure and it will be easy to understand.)
