Step-by-step explanation:

given,

In traingle ABC,

AB=BC,

Angle A =5x+20

and Angle B=2/5a.

here,AB=BC so.it is a isosceles triangle.

therefore, Angle B = Angle C =2/5a

AngleA+Angle+AngleC=180°

(5x+20)+(2/5a)+(2/5a)=180°

(5x+20)+(4/5a)=180°

(4/5a)=180°-(5x+20)

(4/5a)=180°-5x-20

(4/5a)=160°-5x

(4/5a)=5(32-x)

4a=32-x

a= (32-x)/4

(or)

a=8-x/4
