Given in the triangle ABC , the side AB = 3 cm , BC = 4 cm and the side AC equal to 5 cm

From the value of the length of the sides , it is clear that the triangle ABC is a right angled triangle as the Pythagoras theorem is applicable to it.

AC² = BC² + AB²

=> 25 = 16 + 9 , Pythagoras theorem is verified

We know that the radius of the circle touching all the sides = (AB + BC – AC )/ 2

= (4+3-5)/2

= 1 cm
