In triangle ABC, AC=8.4cm ,BC=14cm ,P is a point of AB , CP=11.2 cm and angle ACP=angle B , then find the length of BP

∠B = ∠ ACP ( Given)

BY AA property

ΔABC≈ΔAPC

By similarity

8.4 × 11.2 = AP × 14

AP= 6.72 cm

Similarly

AB × 11.2 = 8.4 × 14

AB = 10.50

BP = AB - AP

BP = 10.50 - 6.72

BP = 3.78 cm
