In triangle ABC, AC perpendicular BC.

B – C – D and CE is the bisector of angle ACD. If angle ACE = 42, find angle A

in the given figure AC perpendicular to BC

angle C = 42⁰...given

angle A +B+C=180⁰..sum of side of triangle is 180⁰

so,angle B = 42⁰..opposite angle are congruent

so, angle A=180-42+42

=180-84

=106⁰

Angle A=106⁰
