in triangle ABC and PQR angle A is equals to angle p , angle b is equal to angle q and AB =QR . WILL THE TWO TRIANGLES BE CONGRUENT . GIVE REASON FOR YOUR ANSWER

No the triangles will not be congruent. As we see the diagram we notice that there is no congruence rule which can be applicable

∠ B ≅ ∠ Q

By AA similarity postulate,

\triangle ABC\sim \triangle PQR

⇒ Triangles ABC and PQR are congruent if,

AB ≅ PQ or BC ≅ QR or AC ≅ PR

⇒ If at least one pair of congruent sides is given then the triangle ABC and PQR can be prove congruent.

Here,  AB = QR ⇒ AB ≅ QR ( Given)

But AB and QR are not the corresponding sides.

Triangles ABC and PQR are not congruent.
