Answer:

  • Angle a + Angle b is equal to 110 degree.
  • Then,Angle c is equal to 180-110 is equal to 70 degree.
  • According to question Angle c + angle a is equal to 135 degree.
  • Or,70 + Angle a is equal to 135 degree.
  • Then,Angle a is equal to 135-70 is equal to 65 degree.
  • Hence,the measure of angle a is 65.

Given : ΔABC

angle A + angle B = 110°

angle C +  angle A=135°

To Find : measure of angle a

Solution:

m∠A + m∠B = 110°

m∠C + m∠A = 135°

Adding both the equation

m∠A + m∠B + m∠C + m∠A = 110° +  135°

=> (m∠A + m∠B + m∠C) + m∠A = 245°

Sum of measure of angles of a triangle is 180°

=> 180° + m∠A = 245°

=> m∠A = 65°

measure of angle a is 65°
