Step-by-step explanation:

AC is hypotenuse...

By applying Pythagoras theorem...

AC^2 = BC^2 + AB^2

(x+6)^2 = (x+4)^2 + (x-3)^2

x^2 +12x +36 = x^2 +8x +16 +x^2 -6x +9

By simplifying....

x^2 -10x -11 = 0

x^2 -11x +x -11 = 0

(x+1)(x-11) = 0

Hence...

x = -1 or 11

Since, length can't be in negative

So... x = 11cm

Therefore....

AB = 8cm

BC = 15cm

AC = 17 cm
