In right angle isosceles triangle ABC, AB = 2\sqrt{6}cm where AC = BC = 6 cm and ∠C = 90.

       Given, in triangle ABC

          AC = BC = 6 cm

          ∠C = 90

      ABC is right angle isosceles triangle.

                                             [since two sides are equal and one angle is 90°]

      By Pythagoras theorem, we have

           AB^{2}=AC^{2}+BC^{2}

           AB^{2}=6^{2}+6^{2}

           AB^{2}=36+36

            AB^{2}=72

            AB=\sqrt{72}

            AB=6\sqrt{2}cm
