ar(ABC) = 2ar(BEC)
=2×48

Hey friend, Here is your answer-
I think the area of triangle ABC is double the measure of Triangle BEC.

Because the median divides the triangle in two equal parts.

And if the measure of part is given so , the area of triangle is equal to sum of two parts of triangle.

But here , only one part measure is given. So, area will be double.
