In a triangle ABC, BO is an angle bisector of ∠ABC and CO is the angle bisector of ∠ACB
To Find :
m∠BOC
Solution :
From the ΔOBC,
m∠OBC + m∠OCB + m∠BOC = 180°
x° + y° + m∠BOC = 180° -----(1)
From ΔABC,
m∠A + m∠B + m∠C = 180°
64 + 2x + 2y = 180
2x + 2y = 116
x + y = 58 ------(2)
Substituting the value of (x + y) from equation (2) in the equation (1),
58° + m∠BOC = 180°
m∠BOC = 180 - 58
= 122°
