In triangle ABC , D is the mid point of AD. If area of Triangle ABC =10 cm².Find the area of Triangle BDE.


manideep15: I think this question needs some clarification. How D can be midpoint of AD??

After all this we get,

square of AD / square of ED = 5 / Area of
triangle BDE

Since , AD = 2× ED

square of (2 × ED) / square of ED = 5 / Area of
triangle BDE


4 ED*2 / ED*2 = 5 / Area of triangle BDE

4 = 5 / Area of triangle BDE

Area of triangle BDE = 5/4 cm*2

Therefore,

Area of triangle BDE = 1.25 cm*2
