Answer is Option (B) 6 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that Centroid of a triangle Divides the median in the ratio of 2:1

Here,

G is centroid intersecting at line AD

such that GD = 2 cm

So, we can note that, GD : AD = 2 : 1

Or

AD : GD = 1 : 2 (Using the above relation of centroid)

Answer is AD = 6 cm (3 \times 2 = 6 cm)
