in triangle abc ,we have

therefore by Thales theorem

/(/frac{ad}{ab}=\[\frac{db}{ec}

ad×ab=db×ec

x-1(2x)=x+2(2x-6)

3x-2x=3x-12

-2x=-12

x=-12/2
