In triangle ABC, DE is drawn parallel to BC meeting AB at D and AC at E.If AD/DB=3/5 and AC=6cm. Find AE. *

Step-by-step explanation:

Traingle ADE and ABC is congruent

so AD/AB=AE/AC

AB=AD+BD

So,

AD/(AD+BD) =AE/6

divide left hand side by BD,

(3/5)/(3/5)+1 = AE/6,

AE= 9/4 ans
