If angle ADE = 50°
then angle ABC = 50° (by alt. int. angle)
If angle BCA = 40°
then, angle. DEA = 40° (by alt. int. angle)
Now, in ∆ ADE
angle ADE + angle DEA + angle BAC = 180°
50° + 40° + angle BAC = 180°
90° + angle BAC = 180°
so, angle BAC = 90°
