Here is your solution

Given :-

In triangle ABC

b=50°

ab=bc

(so angle b and angle  c are equal )

Let,

angle b =angle C = 50°

our assumption is it is isoceles triangle

we know that

a+b+c=180°(sum of triangle )

a+50°+50°=180°

a=180°-100°

a=80°

Angle A =80°

hope it helps you

here's the Answer

given - AB = AC and angle B = 50°

therefore, angle C = 50° also [angles opposite to equal sides are equal ]

in ∆ABC,

A+B+C = 180°[by angle sum property of a triangle]

=> A + 50° + 50° = 180°

=> angleA = 180°- 100° = 80°

hope it helps you

thanks
