Given :

• AB = AC

• Angle B = 65°

To Find :

• Angle C and angle A

Solution :

★ Angle C = Angle B

→ Angle C = 65°

Here angle C is equal to the angle B because Opposite angle of equal sides are always equal.

Now, from Angle Sum Property :

→ ∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180°

→ ∠A + 65° + 65° = 180°

→ ∠A + 130° = 180°

→ ∠A = 180° - 130°

→ ∠A = 50°

\therefore Measurement of angle C = 65° and angle A = 50°.

Answer:

  • AB = AC
  • ∠B = 65°
  • Find other Angles

According to the Question :

⇒ AB = AC

⇒ ∠B = ∠C

  • As angle opposite to equal sides are equal

B = C = 65°

Sum of all angles of triangle :

⇢ ∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180°

  • Putting value of ∠B & ∠C from above

⇢ ∠A + 65° + 65° = 180°

⇢ ∠A + 130° = 180°

⇢ ∠A = 180° - 130°

∠A = 50°
