In triangle ABC, If AD is the bisector of angle A, show that AB > BD and AC > DC.​

Given : AD is the bisectorof ABC

hence, <DAB = <DAC

<BDA is exterior angle of triangle DAC

hence, angle BDA >angle DAC

or Angle BDA >Anle DAB

since , DAB =DAC

AB greater than BD in triangle sides opposite to greater angle is greater.
