Answer:

In △ABC , AB=AC

∴ the triangle is isoceles.

In an isoceles triangle the angles opposite to equal sides are equal.

∴∠A=∠C

AB:BC will be 1:1

As we know that when 2 angles are equal in a triangle so it will be an isosceles triangle.

Also we know that in isoscele triangle 2 sides are of equal measure.

Then:

 \sf \dfrac{AB}{BC}

 \sf :  \implies \:  \dfrac{ AB}{AB}

 \sf :  \implies \:   \cancel\dfrac{ AB}{AB}

 \sf :  \implies \:  \dfrac{ 1}{1}

Hence AB:BC=1:1
