In triangle ABC let P and Q be the points on AB and AC respectively such that PQ is parallel to BC prove that the median AD on side BC bisects PQ

given that,PQ//BC
Let the point of bisection on PQ be O.then
angleODC=angleAOQ
sice AD is median.AngleODC=90°
so angle AOQ is 90°
now AO is median of triangle AOQ
therefore AD bisects PQ
