Answer:acc to mid pt thm (converse)  the line drawn through the midpoint of one side of a triangle which is parallel to another side will bisect the third side and is half of it.

in ΔABC

AM=BM AND MN║BC

SO AN=CN

AC = 5CM

AN+CN=5CM

2(AN)=5CM  (AN=CN)

AN= 2.5CM

BC= 2(MN)   (MD-PT THM)

7CM= 2(MN)

7/2 CM=MN

3.5 CM = MN
