In triangle ABC, angle A = 90°---(given)

tan C=root 3 -----(given)

we know that tan 60° = root 3

therefore,

angle C of triangle ABC is 60°

so, angle B = 30°-----( 90° - 60°- 30° theorem)

Now ,

sinB + cos C= sin 30°+cos60°

= root3/2 + root 3/2

= 2 root3/2

= root 3

sinB+cosC= root 3
