SinA = 24/25

CosA = 7/25

TanC = 7/24

SecC = 25/24

GIVEN: A right-angled ABC.

             AC + BC=49cm , AB=7cm

TO FIND: SinA, CosA, TanC and SecC

SOLUTION:

As we are given,

AC + BC=49cm                                   => BC = 49 - AC

AB = 7cm

In Triangle ABC,

AB² + BC² = AC²                              [ by using Pythagoras theorem ]

(7)² + ( 49-AC )² = AC²                      [ BC = 49 - AC and AB = 7cm]

49 + 2401 + AC² - 98AC = AC²

2450 = 98AC

AC = 25

Implying that,

BC = 49-25

BC = 24

Therefore

SinA = BC/AC = 24/25

CosA = AB/AC = 7/25

TanC = AB/BC = 7/24

SecC = AC/BC = 25/24
