Answer:

Given,

ABC is a right triangle,

In which ∠B = 90°

tan A = 1/√3

⇒ ∠A = 30°

We know that,

The sum of all interior angles of a triangle is supplementary,

⇒ ∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180°

⇒ 30° + 90° + ∠C = 180° ⇒ ∠C = 180° - 120° = 60°

Thus,

sin A.cos C + cos A. sin C

=sin 30°.cos 60°+cos 30°.sin 60°

=1/2 × 1/2 + √3/2 × √3/2

= 1/4 + 3/4

= 4/4

=1
