In triangle ABC, right angled at B, AB = 10 cm and BC = 24 cm.
determine the value of sin A and cos C.
Divide f(x)=5.r*+2r3-4r? +2x-1 by g(x)= x -3x+2.

In Δ ABC, B is at right angle.

Given, AB=24cm

BC=7cm

using Pythagoras theorem

AB </p><p>2</p><p> +BC </p><p>2</p><p> =AC </p><p>2

⇒(24) </p><p>2</p><p> +(7) </p><p>2</p><p> =AC </p><p>2

⇒AC= </p><p>(24 </p><p>2</p><p> )+(7) </p><p>2

 = </p><p>576+49</p><p>	</p><p> = </p><p>625

⇒AC=25CM

(i)sin A= </p><p>AC</p><p>BC

= </p><p>25</p><p>7

cos A= </p><p>AC</p><p>AB

= </p><p>25</p><p>24

(ii)sin C= </p><p>AC</p><p>AB

= </p><p>25</p><p>24

cos c= </p><p>AC</p><p>BC

In ABC, B is At right anGle

Given, AB= 24 cm

BC= 7cm

using pythagoras theorem

AB2 + BC2 = AC2

= (24) 2 + (7) 2 = AC2

AC= (242) + (7) 2

576+ 49= 625

AC= 25cm

(i) sin A = ACBC

= 257

cos A= ACAB

2524

(ii) sin C = ACAB

2524

cosc= ACAC

= 257
