BC = 5√3cm

AC = 10cm

Given:

∠ABC = 90°

∠ACB = 30°

AB = 5cm

To Find:

BC and AC

Solution:

Finding AC

\sf sin30 ^\circ = \dfrac{AB}{AC}

\sf \dfrac{1}{2} = \dfrac{5}{AC}

AC = 10cm

Finding BC

\sf cos30^ \circ = \dfrac{BC}{AC}

\sf\dfrac{\sqrt{3}}{2} = \dfrac{BC}{10}

2BC = 10√3

\sf BC = \dfrac{10\sqrt{3}}{2}

BC = 5√3
