In triangle POR, PQ = PR and QPR = 90°, if QR = 6
cm, then PQ+ PR is equal to​

Given:-

  • PQ=PR
  • QPR=90°
  • QR=6CM

To find:-

  • PQ+OR

Solution:-

according to question PQR is a right angle ∆ and also a isosceles ∆

Now using Pythagoras

(PQ)²+(PR)²=(QR)²

(PQ)²+(PQ)²=(6)²

2(PQ)²=36cm²

(PQ)²=18cm²

PQ=√18cm²

PQ= 3√2cm

Now PQ=PR

PQ+QR=PQ+PQ

2PQ=6√2

Hence

PQ+PR=62
