Given:
- PR = 3cm
- QR= 2cm
To find:
- Length of PQ
Solution :
PQR is a right angled triangle
Therefore, according to Pythagoras theorem;
Square of length of hypotenuse = Sum of squares of the other two sides
So,
c² = a² + b²
PQ² = PR² + QR²
PQ² = 3² + 2²
PQ² = 9 + 4
PQ² = 13
PQ = √13
>> Length of PQ = √13
