\huge \bf \underline{ \underline{Solution}}

Given:-

  • <Q = 90°
  • <P=45°
  • QR=5 cm

To Find:-

  • Length of PR

Solution:-

=> <R = 180° - (<Q + <P)

=> <R = 180° - (135°)

=> <R = 45°

Therefore it is an isosceles right-angled triangle.

So length of QP will be same as length of QR, i. e. 5cm.

PR will be,

= √(25cm² + 25cm²)

= √(50cm²)

= 7.07cm

Answer:

7.07cm

Step-by-step explanation:

tan45=QR/PQ

1=5/PQ

PQ=5CM

NOW,

BY PYTHAGORAS THEOREM

PR²=QR²+QP²

PR²=5²+5²

PR²=25+25

PR=√50

PR=7.07CM
