In triangle PQR , QR= 8 cm and altitude PM= 6 cm and PQ =12 cm. Find altitude RN

Area of triangle PQR = 1/2×8×6=24

RN= 1/2×12x=24

=6x=24

=x=24/6

=4

Therefore, RN= 4cm
