Given: angle PRS= angleSRQ and PQ=6cm,

QR=8cm and RP=4cm

Using angle bisector theoram which states that internal bisector of an of a triangle divides opposite side internally in ratio of corresponding sides containing the angle.

Here RS is bisector of angle R.

PS/SQ=PR/QR

let PS be x cm then SQ= (6-x)cm.

 \frac{x}{6 - x}  =  \frac{4}{8}

8x=24-4x

12x=24

x=2

Hence PS=x=2cm

PS=2cm

Hope it helps you
