In triangle PQR, SandT are the mid points, PR=24cm, QR=13cm and the perimeter of the triangle PQR is 52cm. The length of QT is 7.5cm and TS is 13cm.

Stepwise explanation is given below

- It is given that

QR=13cm

PR=24cm

- QT=PT because T is midpoint of PQ......(1)

Perimeter=PQ+QR+PR=52cm

PQ+13+24=52

PQ=52-37

PQ=15cm

For QT

PQ=QT+PT

15=QT+QT......[FROM(1)]

15=2QT

QT=7.5cm

- By the converse of b.p.t.

QR||ST,QR=ST

QR=ST=13cm
