Step-by-step explanation:

Let AC=BC=4

since in an isosceles trianglee two sides are equal

by pythagoras theorem

b^2+a^2=c^2

b=a=4

thereforec^2=4^2+4^2

c^2=16+16

c=at the root 32

c=4 root 2
