In two consecutive counting numbers, 2 less than 5 times the smaller number is equal to four times the larger. What are the numbers? (in the algebraic expression)

so another(greater) no.=x+1

According to Question

5(x)-2=4(x+1)

5x-2=4x+4

5x-4x=4+2
