Answer :-

Let in A we have,

• Pineapple = 4x
• orange = 3x

and in B we have,

• Pineapple = 6y
• orange = y .

now, in 14 litre of glass A we have,

• Pineapple = 14 * (4/7) = 8 litre.
• Orange = 14 * (3/7) = 6 litre .

and, in 42 litre of glass B we have,

• Pineapple = 42 * (6/7) =36 litre.
• Orange = 42 * (3/7) = 6 litre .

then,

→ In mixture we have , pineapple : orange = (8 + 36) : (6 + 6) = 44 : 12 = 11 : 3 (Ans.)

Solution:-

Let's say in glass A we have,

pineapple = 4x, and orange = 3x

In glass B we have,

pineapple = 6x, and orange = x

∴ In 14 liters of juice in glass A, we have

orange = 14 × $\frac{3}{7}$ = 2 × 3 = 6 liters.

Now, in 42 liters of glass B, we have

pineapple = 42 × $\frac{6}{7}$ = 6 × 6 = 36 liters.

orange = 42 × $\frac{1}{7}$ = 6 liters.

When we mix juice of A and B together, it will have

pineapple = (8 + 36) = 44 liters, and

orange = (6 + 6) = 12 liters.

∴ pineapple : orange = 44 : 12 = 11 : 3.
