In two triangles DEF and PQR, if DE=QR; EF=PR and FD=PQ, then :​

Answer :

∆DEF ≌ ∆QRP [by SSS congruency]

Solution :

In 2 triangles ∆DEF and ∆PQR,

DE = QR

EF = PR

FD = PQ

All the three sides of triangles are equal.

This shows that,

∆DEF ≌ ∆QRP [by SSS congruency]

Note :

  • Two triangles are congruent by SSS congruency if all the three sides of the triangles are equal.

  • Two triangles can also be proved to be congruent by SAS and RHS congurencies.
