Hey MATE!
The direction of motion in circular motion is not tangential but it is changing at every point we go forward with time.
If it was to be said tangential then we would have gone straight.
But when we see the motion of the smallest distance ie. dx then we would observe that is going in tangential direction but the centripetal acceleration makes it towards the center of circle which makes it changing its motion.
