Vegetative propagation is a form of asexual reproduction in which a new plant grows from stems, buds, roots or leaves of an existing plant.
In this type of propagation, a plant may not have to put it's root in the soil whereas plants produced from seeds may take time due to germination wherein it has to grow afresh from the soil and that may take a considerable amount of time for the growth to happen.
