Volume occupied by solute at NTP = Volume of air displaced at NTP   = 112 ml

For volatile solute      PV=MRTw

At NTP,  P=1atm,T=273K

∴   1∗1000112=m0.23∗0.0821∗273

m = 46.02 and V.D. = 23.01
