Viral Fever is a type of sign of inflammation which is caused whenever a virus attacks our body.

Viruses are said to use the mechanism of the host body as it doesn't have its own. Thus, virus causing viral fever uses the body mechanism of the affected person for its sustenance.

According principle of treatment :-

A disease can be eliminated when the causing agent is removed.

We use medicines to blockade important mechanism of the causing agent so that it dies Provided the mechanism is not a part of human body.

Example - Bacteria prepare cell wall while human cells don't. Thus if we stop the formation of cell walls in Bacteria it will die.

Thus, we take Anti-Biotic which blocks the cell wall formation mechanism of Bacteria. Since, humans don't make cells wall, they remain unaffected!

In cases of Virus, we don't find any different and unique viral mechanism as the viruses use the mechanism of affected person.

If any of them is blocked, the person may even die.

Thus, we have no medicines for curing viral diseases.

However, doctor prescribes some Anti-inflammatory medicines which relieves a patient from signs of inflammation including high fever and nausea.
