in water oxygen is more soluble then the nitrogen. then why there is 66% nitrogen and 33% oxygen in water?? if oxygen is soluble in water more then nitrogen the oxygen composition in water should be high but why nitrogen composition is high ?

I am not sure but may this be the reason as the percentage of oxygen is less in the environment so due to its low composition, less of it gets dissolved in water even though it is more soluble than nitrogen. But nitrogen which is in abundance in environment, despite being less soluble is still in majority as it in abundance.
Conclusion:- The percentage also majorly depends on the quantity of the gas in environment. If a gas is less in quantity how can it be in large quantity in water as dissolved form despite being highly soluble.
Hope you understand .
