In weather forecasting, hydrogen-filled balloons are used. Why?

The balloon is usually filled with hydrogen due to lower cost, though helium can be used as a substitute.A weather balloon is something that people who study weather send up into the air to learn more about weather and find weather patterns.  Hydrogen is used in weather balloons because they are very light which help the balloon to float or fly easily.

so, i think due to light weight and easily availaible it is  hydrogen gas is used in pplace of helium in whether balloons .  due to their light weight also it is used.........
