In what condition the frictional force is absent, even when two surfaces are in contact ?

even when 2 surfaces are in contact

the work done by frictional force may be 0

if there is no relative motion between the 2 surfaces

eg: when a box is kept on the floor and it is motionless W.R.T the floor
