It was first found in Northeastern India in 520 BC. It then spread to Southeast Asia. Recently it is mostly seen in Japan, China and Korea. Buddhism spread through missionaries. They travelled across the globe to spread the religion. It gradually through Asia and now occupies most of the East as mentioned above.
