Bacterial cells are very small and cannot be seen by our naked eye and only be seen with the help of a microscope. In air, they present as groups of cells and based on that form different shapes like diplococci, staphylococci and strepto cocci.
Some bacteria contain spores when they are faced with adverse conditions. And in suitable conditions, the spores germinate to form new cells.
