in what form energy is stored in plants and animals

In plants and animals energy is stored in chemical form.
For example - animal cell stores energy as ATP(adenosine triphosphate), glycogen etc.
and in plants it is stored as starch.

in plants,the energy are store in the form of starch.staech is a chain of glucose.
