Answer:

cost of sugar 1 = 20 Rs/kg

cost of sugar 2 = 24 Rs/kg

cost of sugar 3 = 36 Rs/kg

consider the proportion as x:y:z

given, x+y+z = 1(kg)

so 20x+ 24y+ 36z = 28

on solving ,

20x+20y+20z+4y+16z= 28 ==> 4y+16z=8

==> y+4z= 2--(1)

similarly , 20x+ 24y+24z+4x-4x+12z = 28

==> 12z-4x = 4 ==> 3z-x= 1---(2)

36x+36y+36z-16x-12y = 28 ==> -16x-12y = -8

==> 4x-3y = 2---(3)

on solving (1) , (2) and (3) ,

we get x= 1/2 , y=0 , z= 1/2

so the proportion can be 1/2:0:1/2
