in the ratio = m:n
therefore
24/11=(3m+2n)/(m+n)
24m+24n=33m +22n
9m=2n
m/n=2/9
m:n=2:9 answer
simlarly
y=(7m-2n)/(m+n)
y=(7m/n -2)/(m/n +1)
y=(14/9 -2)/(2/9 +1)
y=-4/11 answer
