In what respect did the Old Stone Age implements differ from the implements used in the New Stone Age?

During the Old Stone Age, Paleolithic period, there were tools made up of stones and wood that needed a full proof planning before executing any kind of work.


They need to have a proper backup in case one tool is not working fine.


However, in the New Stone Age, Neolithic Period, there were much sharper and well-polished tools that were much better during the time of implementation and doesn’t require much of a backup plan.
